녹두 증류소의 첫 빈티지 제품이었던 anCnoc 1990은 2004년에 출시되었습니다. 2005년과 2006년에는 anCnoc 1991이 출시 되었습니다. 재밌는 것은 anCnoc.com에 올라와있는 anCnoc 1991의 설명에 따르면 가장 처음 출시된 빈티지 제품은 1991이라고 돼있다는 것입니다. 1990이 버젓이 있는데 왜 이런 설명이 쓰여 있는지는 의문입니다.

2005년에는 고숙성 빈티지 제품도 같이 출시되었습니다. 무려 30년 숙성인 anCnoc 1975입니다.

빈티지 제품은 2017년을 끝으로 새롭게 출시되고 있지는 않습니다. 그리고 이번에 소개해 드릴 위스키가 바로 2017년에 출시된 anCnoc 2002입니다.

 

Knocdhu 증류소의 브랜드 매니저 인 Stephanie Allison은 “스파이시한 향미와 달콤한 맛이 잘 결합되어 있어 컬렉션을 늘리고자 하는 안목 있는 위스키 애주가들도 만족시킬 것이다"라고 소개하고 있습니다.

 

특유의 화사함과 달콤함이 특징인 제품으로, 위스키 입문자분들도 편하게 드실만한 아주 좋은 위스키입니다.

코에서는

스파이시한 크리스마스 케이크, 감초 사탕 및 토피의 향이 가득합니다. 뒤이어 크리미한 바닐라, 향신료가 따라오고, 이 모든 것은 아녹 위스키의 특징인 꿀과 감귤향에 감싸져 있습니다. 

 

입에서는

초콜릿은 오렌지 풍미와 가죽 내음과는 대조되는 또 다른 단맛을 더해줍니다.

 

넘긴 후에는

길고, 따뜻함, 약간의 매움.
